Purpose from tragedy.

I know when you are in the midst of a tragic situation it's hard to believe that anything good could ever come out of it. And to try to imagine being beyond the horrible thing that is right in front of you is so far from reality at that time.

But sometimes after some of the most horrific things in this life people have gone through they find their purpose. We have all heard stories of people who have lost a loved one due to an illness and then they become a huge advocate for helping to support research and getting knowledge out to the people. Sometimes someone comes out of a horribly abusive situation and once they are strong enough they go on to become a counselor or an abuse advocate. There are MANY of these stories that happen daily in this world.

Whatever you are going through right now may seem like the biggest tragedy of your entire life and it may very well be the worst thing that ever happens to you in your life time. But you must know that this horrific situation may be setting you up to find your greatest purpose. Your new reason for living, the reason that you open your eyes each day and push forward.

I pray that if you are going through a tragedy right now in your journey that God would give you peace and calm your heart. That He would open your eyes in the midst of this situation and show you great things that are to come from this circumstance. I pray that God would hold you tightly in the palm of His hand and take away all of the pain in your heart and fill it with love and understanding. And I thank you Lord for what you are doing for the person who is reading this right now in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
