Road construction again?? Uugg

Where I live there are 2 seasons. Winter and Road Construction. If it's not freezing cold and snowing then there is an endless sea of orange cones, barrels and construction signs on EVERY road you go on.

If you have ever sat in road construction for any length of time then you know how frustrating and aggravating it can be. Just as the cars in front of you start moving you get a glimmer of hope that you might make it to your destination on time. Then all of a sudden dead stop, so the dump truck at the front of the line can make a u-turn and block the traffic for another 10 minutes while he watches the bob cat in the center ditch go back and forth. Yep you know what I'm talking about.

Construction comes in different forms. Sometimes it is used to maintain an existing path and other times it is used to totally reconfigure an area to become something completely different.

Becoming successful is no different. It's a crazy road that gets potholes, lumps, bumps and sometime even sinkholes. Becoming successful requires construction along the way to make repairs or sometimes reconfigure an area of failure into something completely different so that you can start going again.

Not one successful person has ever said it was easy getting to where they are and if they did they're lying. Some may have had it easier then others but none were without some kind of struggle. Once you have success you will continue to have construction moments because it takes work to maintain and grow the success you have achieved.

So as you grow your success don't get discouraged by construction moments. Remember they are necessary to your growth and success! I pray that you would embrace those crazy construction moments and learn from them.
